Maas Global Solutions (MGS) Corporation has been providing transaction-processing solutions since 1989 where we participated in the pre-Internet small network world by installing networks, hardware and software solutions as well as custom software development for both retail and wholesale business models. Throughout the initial Internet growth period we integrated business systems, processes and external partner systems into a common fabric leveraging the Internet as part of the network. Today, we are actively participating in the second wave of Internet growth- the formalization of the Internet as a strategic part of any company infrastructure.   In the late 1990’s Troy Maas, our founder with his team of engineers built the LinkPoint Payment Gateway for Cardservices International, the first truly high volume, high availability Internet Payment Gateway that is now the First Data Global Gateway.  MGS brought the key players from that effort back together to build the Paymentsite product set focused on bringing market success to both MGS and our reseller partners.

MGS has built active business relationships with many of the largest payment processors in the US. The Paymentsite Gateway is integrated with the Royal Bank of Scotland, First National Bank of Omaha, Heartland Payments Systems and Chase Paymentech for credit card processing and Jack Henry’s Profit Stars for ACH and check processing.  We are also proud of our relationships with a large number of Agents and ISOs who are resellers for the Paymentsite services.

MGS owns and operates a technologically advanced data center that is Payment Card Industry (PCI) Level I, SAS 70 and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certified, with a 2nd fail-over data center capable of maintaining operations.  The MGS data center is currently used by thousands of merchants, has an 99.99% uptime and has the capacity to process over 100 times the current processing volume and 10’s of thousands more merchants without significantly adding to our hardware configuration.

Paymentsite Platform Strategy

Paymentsite platforms are customized to each vertical market (like Property Management) and typically consist of three components:

  1. Virtual terminal and payment processing (Merchant Portal)
  2. Back Office (Merchant Portal)
  3. Online Customer Payment Portal (Consumer Portal)

The web based virtual terminal supports a swipe block for retail payment card acceptance, a PIN pad for debit card acceptance and a check scanner that converts paper checks into Check 21 transactions.   

The back office is a robust administration and reporting tool where businesses can quickly and easily manage the payments related portion of their companies, including reporting and sending automated invoices and/or processing recurring payments for their customers.

The online customer payment portal enables the business to present itemized bills to their customers who can log in to an MGS hosted website and pay their bills using a credit card, debit card or their checking account.  The platform securely retains this data in our state of the art, Payment Card Industry (PCI) Level 1 compliant data center which allows the consumer to use these same payment vehicles the following month without reentering the payment details or they can authorize a recurring payment.

Merchants and resellers can also integrate their own software and/or hardware with our robust payment processing capabilities via the Paymentsite API (Application Programming Interface), which allows them to mix and match the online portals and/or back end robust payment processing with other business systems.
